Installing the CS Ricoh IM C3000 Printer/Copier

Mac OS Instructions

Download and install the printer driver

• Download the MacOS driver from the web: https://support.ricoh.com/bb/html/dr_ut_e/rc3/model/imc3000/imc3000.htm

• Select your MacOS version and Download.

• After the download completes, browse to In Downloads, and open Ricoh_IM_C3000_C3500_C4500_LIO_1.8.0.0.dmg. Double-click on the file and to mount the dmg file.

• Next run Ricoh_IM_C3000_C3500_C4500_LIO_Driver.pkg install file and install the driver.

Add the printer

• Open System Preferences and Printers & Scanners

• Click + under the printers list to add a new printer

• In the Add Printer window click IP

• For Protocol: select the IPP option

• For Address: use hallwaycopier.cs.northwestern.edu, mailroomcopier.cs.northwestern.edu or “L370A-copier.cs.northwestern.edu” depending on which printer you're adding.

• For Name type something like CS Hallway Ricoh IM C3000, CS Mailroom Ricoh IM C3000 or “CS L370A Ricoh IM C3000”

• For Use (or Print Using), use the pull-down menu to Select Software…

• In the filter, start typing RICOH IM C3000 PS

• Optionally, for Location, you may want to enter a description to identify this printer in the CS Hallway, the CS Mailroom or CS L370A.

• Click Add

• Click OK

• Close Printers & Scanners
